Mart Trip

The trip to to the merchandise mart was very interesting. We visited Knoll's and Herman Miller's show rooms. In both of their showrooms we were able to see examples of how electrical cords are ran to the work stations and conference rooms. In most cases they ran to the center of the desk and the plugged into a unit on the floor. In Herman Millers showroom the electricity was ran from the ceiling to one of there small conference rooms. Something that I also found very interesting was the ergonomics of their office chairs in particular Herman Miller's. Below I have attached a picture of one of their chairs that I found interesting. This chair takes the weight of the user and then adjust to the correct support for the user.
